EP700 Planetary Slewing Drives
EP700 slewing drives combine planetary reduction with a flange-mounted slew support and output options intended for rotating structures. Typical duties include excavator upper structures, cranes, wind-energy yaw systems, turntables, and other machines that need controlled low-speed rotation under high overturning and shock loads.

Output Options

Can EP700 use electric motors?
The published family supports IEC electric motors as well as hydraulic motor options, subject to the selected construction.
Is an integral pinion available?
Yes, the public series description lists splined output or an integral pinion as output choices.
Why is holding torque important?
Slew systems may see wind, slope, inertia, or suspended-load effects while stopped. Brake and static torque requirements should be defined separately from running torque.
Can I replace an existing slew drive by model name only?
A model cross-reference helps, but the pinion, flange, center distance, mounting, brake, motor, and load data still need confirmation.
